O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali Second Video

O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali or on its on screen graphic Uzbekistan Television is a state television station in you guessed it Uzbekistan.

O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali broadcasts in Russian 24 hours a day with mostly soaps, news and general entertainment shows.

O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali broadcasts on VHF Channel 5 in Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent and with relays across the country, but also can be seen in whole of Europe on the Express AM1 satellite at 40°E.

The city of Tashkent lays claim that it is the birth place of electronic television with the claim that Boris Grabovsky created a working camera tube in 1928 there.

Boris Grabovsky stopped his research in 1930 and television did not return to Tashkent till 1956/57 but this time as full service and O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali can trace its history to that time.

O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali still makes time to play the National Anthem of Uzbekistan at around 05:55 their time each morning before the start of the new broadcast day.

This is the second video I have posted from O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali, the first can be viewed here.

In the first video there is a different ident package a winter one, and a totally different National Anthem video which is why I am posting this video.

The Video

First of we see their ident package for this time of year with a Mosque which I guess is in Tashkent, then their digitally created clock counting to 05:55am when another ident plays, then National Anthem video starts.

The National Anthem video with various shots of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Industry, Uzbek Olympians, and other patriotic images.

All with the Flag of Uzbekistan waving at the top and bottom of the video and National Anthem of Uzbekistan playing through out.

Finally another ident, and a lady continuity announcer welcoming thier viewers.

I hope you all enjoy...

Armenia 1

Armenia 1 is a public broadcast television channel from Armenia.

Armenia 1 broadcasts a wide variety of content, from news, to sports, to music videos to American imports dubbed in Armenian.

Armenia 1 broadcasts on VHF Channel 8 in Armenia's capital Yerevan, and has transmitters across the country but also can be seen across the whole of Europe on satellite on Hot Bird 6 at 13°E and Eutelsat Sesat at 36°E.

History of Armenia 1

Armenia 1 can trace its history to September 5th 1955 when the government of the former Soviet Union decided to build 27 programme centres and five transmission stations in the Republics of the Soviet Union.

Transmissions began November 29th 1956, which was the date of Sovietization of Armenia, with the official opening taking place on February 9th 1957 when regular programming started to air.

The Video

Not really much to say about this video, other than it features a digitally created Flag of Armenia waving with a 3D Coat of Arms of Armenia placed over the flag and the National Anthem of Armenia playing from start to finish.

I still hope you all enjoy.
