Metro TV

Metro TV is a 24-hour news channel which is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Metro TV is mainly a news station but offers some political satire shows and talk based entertainment.

Metro TV broadcasts on UHF Channel 57 in Jakarta Metro TV also has a large network of over 53 relays in Indonesia and is also available over all the world via web streams.

Right lets get onto the video.

The National Anthem is heard and Flag is flying right from the start, there there are various shots of I guess past and present political leaders and a speech which I do not know who its from and when, but I assume its a declaration of independence.

I do not really know what else I can say about this one, I don't know enough to explain the video in great detail I'm afraid, I guess I'll just let the video talk for itself.

Thanks for reading and enjoy.

  1. Thought I'd help out with the video here - the speech in the middle of the video is indeed the declaration of independence for Indonesia, as read by then-President Sukarno in August 1945. Here are some Wikipedia articles, providing the speech in English and Indonesian:
