XHIJ-TV Canal 44 is a Mexican broadcast television station licensed for the Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico and El Paso Texas, United States Area/Market and broadcasts in Spanish.
XHIJ-TV broadcasts on UHF Channel 44, Ciudad Juárez and El Paso are separated by the Rio Grande River and so they share broadcast television stations and have an audience of around 2,380,785 people. XJIJ-TV is currently rated forth in Ciudad Juárez but I am unsure of its ratings in El Paso.
XHIJ-TV is an affiliate of Cadena Tres or in English Network Three and provides a 24/7 broadcast.
As I've mentioned before with other Mexican licensed stations, all broadcast stations radio and television are required to play the national anthem each day by law under their licence from the Secretary of Communications and Transportation of Mexico.
The Video
First off we see an ident for XHIJ-TV which serves as identification and then an announcer giving a message which translates as "Channel 44 The Channel for the News an affiliate of Network Three"
I will let the video speak for itself, but the Flag of Mexico is heavily featured and the National Anthem of Mexico is played through-out.
Thanks and Enjoy.....

Due to excess trolling in the comments, all comments are subject to moderation. The Mexican flag is shown a lot since it is also required by law. Article 41 of the National Symbols Law dictates that when the Mexican anthem is playing on TV, the Mexican flag must be shown during the performance (at least once, but I seen as many as 5 to 10 showings). The law is at http://www.fotw.net/flags/mx_1984.html#1984-1
Hello Zachary, thanks for this information I did not realise this was also Mexican law
You're welcome. The video is similar to what I see on station XEWT-12 when it closes down at night. I don't know if they close down anymore, but when they did, the Mexican flag was at least shown 6-7 times. The video I always saw was at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_qCqWkI69A
Yep XEWT-12 will still air that video, like I said they will be required to play the Anthem.
XEWT-TV area is interesting check out XETV FOX6 on this blog.
Cheers for the comments
