S4C Analog Close Down and Start Up July 2008

S4C is a public broadcast in Wales primarily broadcasting in Welsh.

S4C over the air broadcasts in Welsh and English shows during different times of the day,

English language shows are broadcast because the English Channel 4 is not available over the air in analogue in Wales, so S4C broadcasts Channel 4's programmes when they see fit.

S4C first began broadcasting on the 1^st of November 1982 and has the forth channel licence in the whole of Wales, and broadcasts in Welsh and English in PAL analogue over the air, fully in Welsh on DVB-T Digital over the air and the same signal is broadcast all over Europe on satellite.

S4C Analog continues to close down in the very small hours of the morning normally past 4am for about two hours before restart at 6am.

So this is the close down from the 25^th of July 2008 and start up the same morning.
