Emirates Channel is a channel broadcasting from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Emirates Channel broadcasts on the new Badr 6 satellite at 26°E to Middle East and North Africa.
Until recently Emirates Channel could be seen over the whole of Europe with a relatively small dish from the Badr 4 at 26°E satellite, but in August it switched to the new highly focused Badr 6.
So sadly I can no longer receive Emirates Channel any more.
Anyway Emirates Channel uses a falcon in its logo, falconry is a big sport in the Middle East it began as a way of hunting but now has become a sport and a pass time.
Emirates Channel continues to close down each morning and uses the static card seen in this video with I guess the audio from one of their radio stations.
At close down and start up this video is aired, and it is truly something special, a lot of production has gone into a video that is used only twice a day.
Not really much else to say about this channel, I know little else about it.
Have a good September.
I hope you all enjoy.
