DZBB-TV Channel 7
DZBB-TV Channel 7 is a Philippine broadcast television station licensed to broadcast to the Metro Manila region on VHF Channel 7 with a radiated power of 100 kW's.
DZBB-TV is the flagship station of the GMA Television Network.
The GMA Television Network airs a wide variation of shows from news and current affairs shows, dramas, variety shows, dubbed foreign imports to sitcoms and game shows.
The History
DZBB-TV first came on air on October 29th 1961, and was the third television station in the Philippines.
During the first years of broadcasting DZBB-TV was always in the red, and survived on taped shows bought from the United States of America.
In 1972 the station went off air due to the declared Marshal Law and did not return till 1974 with new owners who introduced new programming, who dubbed the station Greater Manila Area Radio-Television Arts which is what GMA stands for.
The Video
First off we see a digitally rendered shot of The GMA Network Center in Quezon City.
Next a list of information is put up, and a male announcer reads of the list, the list contains the broadcast details of DZBB-TV, its postal address, then a list of employees with their licence number.
The announcer then begins to list out the call signs and locations of other GMA Network affiliates in The Philippines by island.
After the announcer mentions that the GMA Network is the largest network, he finally announces the station is signing off for the night.
After this the National Anthem of the Philippines video is aired, I will let this video speak for itself I think.
Finally a test pattern with "GMA CHANNEL 7 TOC MANILA" on it to identify the station.
I hope you all enjoy.

DWWX-TV Channel 2
DWWX-TV Channel 2 is a Philippine broadcast television station licensed to broadcast to the Metro Manila region on VHF Channel 2 with a radiated power of 346.2 kW's.
DWWX-TV is the flagship station of the ABS-CBN Television Network
The History
DWWX-TV can trace its history to October 23rd 1953 when it originally signed on as DZAQ-TV on VHF Channel 3 as the Alto Broadcasting System,
So this means that tomorrow DWWX-TV will be 55 years old, and ABS-CBN current on air look reflects that, so happy birthday DWWX-TV.
In 1956 DZXL-TV Channel 9 Chronicle Broadcasting Network came on the air in Manilla and was in direct competition with DZAQ-TV.
On February 24th 1957 the owners of DZXL-TV approached the owner of DZAQ-TV in hope of purchasing DZAQ-TV, he agreed.
The company officially changed it name to match these two stations in 1967 to ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation.
In 1969, DZAQ-TV transferred to VHF Channel 2, while sister station DZXL-TV transferred to Channel 4, this was done to allow DZKB-TV to go on the air on VHF Channel 9.
When then President Ferdinand Marcos declared Martial Law on September 2nd 1972, DZAQ-TV was forced to shut down.
DZAQ-TV facilities and channel was transferred to the government controlled Banahaw Broadcasting Corporation in November 1973 and took the call sign DWWX-TV.
While DZXL-TV became DWGT-TV Government Television, you can see DWGT-TV current sign-on on this Blog Here.
It was not until The People Power Revolution in 1986, that the revolutionists attacked the broadcast center for DWWX-TV on February 24th 1986 and took it under their control.
On September 14th 1986 DWWX-TV and the frequency Channel 2 was returned to the owners of the ABS-CBN network and they were back on the air, but did not revert to their pre marshal law former call sign.
The Video
A list of information is put up, and a male announcer reads of the list, the list contains the broadcast details of DWWX-TV, its postal address and transmitter details, then a list of employees.
He then announces the station is signing off for the night with ABS-CBN logo .
After this the National Anthem of the Philippines video is aired.
I will let this video speak for itself again, but I wonder are the people featured in this video ABS-CBN employees? since we see a shot of people in a balcony on the ABS-CBN Broadcast Center.
Then after the national anthem video, it fades into a ABS-CBN logo with "In the service of Filipino Worldwide" below.
Finally a test card of "ABS-CBN CH. 2" and the transmitter is turned off and we get static.

The male announcer in the video is saying "JOAX-DTV, this is channel Nippon TV digital television, this is channel Nippon TV digital television".

JOAX-DTV did not close down for the night yet still aired this video at the start of their new broadcast day.
I hope you all enjoy.

O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali Second Video
O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali or on its on screen graphic Uzbekistan Television is a state television station in you guessed it Uzbekistan.
O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali broadcasts in Russian 24 hours a day with mostly soaps, news and general entertainment shows.
O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali broadcasts on VHF Channel 5 in Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent and with relays across the country, but also can be seen in whole of Europe on the Express AM1 satellite at 40°E.
The city of Tashkent lays claim that it is the birth place of electronic television with the claim that Boris Grabovsky created a working camera tube in 1928 there.
Boris Grabovsky stopped his research in 1930 and television did not return to Tashkent till 1956/57 but this time as full service and O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali can trace its history to that time.
O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali still makes time to play the National Anthem of Uzbekistan at around 05:55 their time each morning before the start of the new broadcast day.
This is the second video I have posted from O'zbekiston Teleradiokanali, the first can be viewed here.
In the first video there is a different ident package a winter one, and a totally different National Anthem video which is why I am posting this video.
The Video
First of we see their ident package for this time of year with a Mosque which I guess is in Tashkent, then their digitally created clock counting to 05:55am when another ident plays, then National Anthem video starts.
The National Anthem video with various shots of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Industry, Uzbek Olympians, and other patriotic images.
All with the Flag of Uzbekistan waving at the top and bottom of the video and National Anthem of Uzbekistan playing through out.
Finally another ident, and a lady continuity announcer welcoming thier viewers.

m1
m1 is a public service television station in Hungary, broadcasting on UHF Channel 41 in Hungary's capital Budapest but has transmitters across the country and is available through cable, satellite and limited broadcasts on line.
m1 is the first television channel from Magyar Televízió and broadcasts a wide variety of shows, news, sports, general entertainment and drama.
m1 has its beginnings in 1954 with test transmissions, but the first regular transmission was not until May 1st 1957 with the May Day ceremonies was transmitted.
Magyar Televízió translates into English as Hungarian Television
Daily scheduled news broadcasts began on July 2nd 1957 with colour broadcasting beginning regularly in 1971.
The Video
First of we see two idents back to back for m1, then into a shot of the Flag of Hungary waving in front of Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest.
The shot then takes us to the grand entrance hall of the Hungarian Parliament Building and there is a choir with a conductor signing the Hungarian National Anthem.
Then we leave the Parliament building and pan back to the Flag flying and fades to black, next is a video crediting everyone working for m1 that day I assume.
Finally m1's current digitally generated clock is aired until the transmitter is switched off at the end.
This video is very similar to the one used by Duna II Autonómia Televízió also from Hungary.
I hope you all enjoy.

BBC One England Close Down 1985
This is the BBC One England Close Down from the end of the broadcast day of Wednesday 3rd of April 1985 in the early hours of Thursday 4th of April 1985.
Sadly BBC One in every broadcast region of the United Kingdom does not close down any longer simply airing The BBC News Channel during the time they do not program.
Not really much to be said about this video it it all pretty obvious.
Except it features the BBC One England clock of that time, then into the BBC One England Globe ident of that time with God Save the Queen then pan to black level with test tone.
I am unsure of the exact BBC One region this is from, maybe someone who reads this blog can comment if you recognize the continuity announcer.
Thanks to Billy Hicks for the use of this video.
I hope you enjoy and have a good October...
