Armenia 1 New Years Eve

Armenia 1 is a public broadcast television channel from Armenia.

Armenia 1 broadcasts a wide variety of content, from news, to sports, to music videos to American imports dubbed in Armenian.

Armenia 1 broadcasts on VHF Channel 8 in Armenia's capital Yerevan, and has transmitters across the country but also can be seen across the whole of Europe on satellite on Hot Bird 6 at 13°E and Eutelsat Sesat at 36°E.

The Video

This video was broadcast on New Years Eve December 31st 2008 just after the President of Armenia's speech, it is common in the ex Soviet Unions satellite countries to have a speech by their current president each year.

I will let this video speak for itself, but it features very patriotic images, with a 3D created Coat of Arms and Flag of Armenia and National Anthem playing.

Finally a graphic welcoming in 2009 with fireworks being set off.

I am unsure if this video will be used from now on or will be just used on New Years Eve after the President of Armenia's speech.
