XHMNU-TV Canal 53

XHMNU-TV Canal 53 is a University run educational television station in Monterey Mexico.

XHMNU-TV is operated by the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León which is the state university of Nuevo León.

XHMNU-TV can be seen on UHF Channel 53.

XHMNU-TV is a affiliate of the Edusat network as well produces its own educational programming from within the university.

XHMNU-TV is known on air as El Canal del Conocimiento which translates into English as The Knowledge Channel.

This video is a long one for sure and quite a hefty file size when buffering so please be patient with it.

The first part of this video is almost a promotional video and song for the university with various shots and things happening on campus.

The second video if your a long time reader of this blog you should know all broadcast media in Mexico are required to conform to the broadcast laws of the Secretary of Communications and Transportation of Mexico, this includes airing the National Anthem and Flag of Mexico.

This is actually shot during what looks like the independence day celebrations on campus on September 16th 2008.

You get a nice shot of the Flag not doing much and a shot of a transmitter on top of one of the campuses buildings
